Why?
To bring you to glorify God and magnify Jesus Christ through directing you to mainstream New Covenant Theology (NCT) websites and ministries. To provide you a portal to sites which hold to NCT:- a relentlessly Christ-centered, Christ-honoring, and Christ-enjoying theology.
What this site is not: The aim of this site isn’t to be a repository of NCT material. We don’t intend on being a repository for articles, blog postings, audio, video, contact lists, etc. It is to be substanceless (so to speak).
What this site is: A portal to point people to NCT articles, blogs, audio, video, contact lists, etc. I’d like people to know that if they are looking for a particular NCT site or materials they will be able to find it through NewCovenantTheology.org. (The ’blog posts’ is intended to provide news updates only).
Terry Rayburn of GraceforLife.com has generously handed the domain over to me. He told me he kept it because he didn’t want it to fall into the hands of the evil Orcs. In keeping with this noble desire I’d like to take it one step further by pointing people away from Orc territory and towards safe mainstream NCT ground where the flock can safely feed. There are also many other good Christian ‘NCT friendly’ sites out there but this site will be limited to NCTers who agree with NCT and are happy to own that label. (Otherwise, check out SoloChristo.com for an NCT site which includes many articles from non-NCTers.)
Our growing editorial team from various NCT ministries will work together to keep the site current and thus keep the site prominent in web searches for “New Covenant Theology” and related topics. If that is the case we would have done ourselves and the cause of truth a great service and have a handy reference site to use.
I desire the site to lovingly showcase and embrace the spectrum of mainstream NCT. May you marvel at the flow of God’s program in Scripture, as He reveals himself to us in Jesus Christ our Covenant Lord.
